The Slovenian national selection EMA 2010 for Europe's favourite TV-show will look like the one for the 2009 edition, with small changes, the fan site Esctoday.com reports.
An open call for songs has been announced and entries can submitted till the 14th of December. In the rules it does not say, though, whether foreign composers are allowed to enter. However, the songs do have to be in Slovenian.
Then a jury will select fourteen lucky acts which will compete in the semi-final, called EMA Predizbor. The chosen finalists from this round will compete with seven local composers, invited by the broadcaster for the right to represent Slovenia. This means a small change from last year, when six composers were asked by RTVSLO.
Slovenia finished sixteenth in the Semi-Final this year in Moscow and thus did not qualify for the Final. The job was taken by Quartissimo feat. Martina and their Love Symphony.
