Slovenian broadcaster RTV has announced an extra-special live show for Saturday 4 February. 'Misija Liverpool' will host a selection of music performances, with Joker Out presenting their song for the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest, 'Carpe Diem'.

HOW To WATCH: 'Misija Liverpool' will air at 20:00 CET on TV SLO 1 on Saturday 4 February. RTV offer a live stream of the channel on their website - you can also watch the video for 'Carpe Diem' on the official Eurovision YouTube channel from 20:45 CET the same evening.

Back in December, RTV revealed the artist that would be representing Slovenia at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest. The band Joker Out, made up of Bojan, Jure, Kris, Jan, and Nace, are one of the country's most successful groups; having enjoyed both chart success and critical acclaim in recent years.

To give their song, Carpe Diem, the spectacular introduction it deserves, RTV have planned a Saturday night prime-time event to premiere the song and its music video (which will then appear on the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel).

Alongside the much-anticipated premiere, Joker Out will also be performing acoustic versions of some of the most popular entries that Slovenia has contributed to the Eurovision Song Contest over the years. The songs being performed by Joker Out on the night are:

SestreSamo Ljubezen
Maja KeucNo One
LPSDisko
Nuša DerendaEnergy

All of the original artists behind those songs will be coming along for the evening and be present for the performances; so we'll be able to enjoy Tomaž Mihelič of Sestre, Maja Keuc (Amaya), Filip Vidušin from LPS, and Nuša Derenda on our television screens once more.

All those legends from Slovenia's history in the Eurovision Song Contest won't be the only familiar faces we'll see on the night. Another special guest that RTV has invited along to perform is Konstrakta, who represented Serbia at the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest with In Corpore Sano

Hosting the show on Saturday 4 February will be Miša Molk, a long-time stalwart of the Slovenian Eurovision Song Contest scene. Miša will have the honour of giving Slovenia, as well as Europe and beyond, the very first listen of Joker Out's Carpe Diem, before it commences its journey towards Liverpool in May.

Slovenia will perform in the Second Semi-Final at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
