Slovenia: 'EMA' final to select Eurovision song 🇸🇮
17 February 2022 at 13:25 CET📺 TUNE IN: The EMA final will begin at 20:20 CET on Saturday 19 February. Slovenian broadcaster RTV SLO will air the show live on TV SLO 1, and they will also organise a live satellite broadcast on the broadcaster’s website.

The winner of EMA (Evrovizijska Melodija) 2022 will have a relatively short journey to Turin in May, needing only to cross the Slovenian border before they then find themselves in Italy, ready for the world’s biggest music event.
There are 12 artists in contention to secure that very ticket, and they’ve arrived at the EMA final via 2 semi-finals which took place earlier in February, and which narrowed down the initial field of 20 songs to the dozen we have now.
EMA has a rich history in Slovenia, having been around since 1996. The song contest returns in 2022Â after taking a break in 2021, when it was decided that the 2020Â winner, Ana SokliÄŤ, would get to represent Slovenia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam, after the 2020Â Contest was cancelled.

EMA 2022 will be hosted by Melani Mekicar and Bojan Cvjetićanin, and will be coming live to you from Studio 1, TV Slovenia.
If you’re tuning in on Saturday evening, these are the songs that you can look forward to enjoying, in the order that they’ll be performed in on the evening:
