Slovenia: Four acts through to third round

The show once again is presented by Klemen Slakonja and Maja Keuc.

Tonight saw the start of the second round, and eight of the successful contestants from the past four weeks returned to see if they could continue their Eurovision mission. Tonight's line up was as follows (qualifiers in bold):

  • Maja Založnik 
  • Sarah Senica 
  • Gašper Rifelj 
  • Eva Boto 
  • Flora Ema Lotrič 
  • Barbara Vauda 
  • Eva & Nika Prusnik

The four acts chosen were decided by the televoting public and jury vote. See them in our gallery below!

During the interval act, Maja Keuc sang Helena Paparizou's My Number One, the Greek winning song in the 2005 edition of Europe's Favourite TV show. You can see the video of it on Youtube.

A reminder of who is in the jury

  • Darja Svajger - Slovenian representative in 1995 and 1999 Eurovision Song Contest
  • Raay - Composer and producer of the 2011 Slovenian national runner up Ladadidej
  • Tina Marinšek - Singer from the band Tabu who were third in 2011 national selection
  • Jonas Znidarsic - Actor and television presenter in Slovenia

Next weekend, the remaining eight contestants will sing off for the final four places available in round three of the competition.
