When two successful Eurovision artists decide to cooperate, it's always a very special moment. This one is no exception: Sirusho, one of the most famous artists in Armenia, and Sakis Rouvas, one of Greece's superstars, recently recorded their song See together. You can already watch a teaser video on Youtube:

Sirusho previously participated in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest for Armenia and reached the fourth place with Qélé Qélé - the best Armenian result to date. Sakis Rouvas came third with Shake It in 2004, then went on to present the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens, and again participated as an artist in Moscow in 2009.

Sirusho: Sealing the friendship between Armenia and Greece

In our short interview, Sirusho first explains why the collaboration with a Greek artist seems natural to her: "Our people have a lot in common, both are very emotional. We can get sad and angry very quickly but we sure know how to party. Greeks and Armenians are one of the oldest nations on the planet. The friedship between our countries has a long history, and to seal it with a song felt like the right thing to do."

About her duet partner Sakis Rouvas, she adds: "Sakis is a great artist. We have both been representing our countries for a long time and have similar achievements, similar musical background. Sakis has been a leading artist in the Greek market for a very long time. It is a pleasure to collaborate with him. I think something we both want out of this project is to give good mood to our audience, to make them happy, so they can forget about troubles and just enjoy life."

Will there be a comeback to Eurovision for Sirusho? "I have a lot of love for all the people that want me back on the contest, I am happy to see that every year the number of people grows. I am aware that many Eurofans wanted my song Pregomesh to participate and I'm very thankful. But I'm in a different place now, I have moved on. Eurovision has given me the chance to grow bigger as an artist and thats what I'm trying to do now. Its a big family for me and I'll always be there when it needs me."

Sakis: Our chemistry is reflected in this song

When we asked Sakis Rouvas about the collaboration and his expectations, he explained: "I am really glad and excited for this collaboration! Sirusho is a great artist with positive energy on stage and we matched perfectly. Our chemistry is reflected on this song, which is a mixture of our cultures. I really hope you love it as we do!"

Has Sakis thought about a comeback to the Eurovision Song Contest? "I have participated in the Eurovision Song Contest three times, twice as a contestant and once as a presenter and I have to admit it was an amazing experience for me! I have really enjoyed it both times and met wonderful artists. Eurovision Song Contest is a special chapter in my career. Is there going to be a comeback? No one knows for sure..."
