San Marino in Eurovision

San Marino debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2008 with Miodio’s Complice. After finishing last in the Semi-Final, San Marino took two years out before returning to the contest in 2011 and has been an ever-present competitor since then. So far, the country has only managed to qualify for the Grand Final once, when Valentina Monetta finished 24th with Maybe. She has represented San Marino a record four times, three times as a solo artist and again in 2017 with Jimmie Wilson. Serhat will become the second artist to represent San Marino more than once this year.
