
Serhat concludes European promotional tour
25 April 2016 at 16:51 CESTThe tour began in the 'Land of Fire', Azerbaijan, with an intense round of national media and an appearance on Ictimai TV. Serhat was warmly welcomed by the Azeri hosts. After two days in Baku, Serhat travelled to Tbilisi, Georgia, with a similar round of media promotion including an appearance on Georgian public television (GPB)
The first country of the Balkan promotional visit was Montenegro, with an official press conference with Montenegrin public broadcaster RTCG who also invited the Montenegrin entrants Highway to support Serhat's appearance in Podgorica.
After Montenegro, promotion in Serbia was next, where Serhat was a guest on Serbian public broadcaster RTS, after which all other commercial, national and local media welcomed San Marino’s 2016 representative. During his media promotion in Belgrade, Serhat met with the Eurovision 2008 presenter, Jovana Joksimović, on her morning show at TV Pink.
Serhat was welcomed by Bosnian public broadcaster BHRT where he met the Bosnian representatives for Eurovision 2016. After agreeing they will support each other in Stockholm, Serhat visited other national and commercial media, press, radio stations and TV channels, including regional shows broadcast in Serbia, Croatia and Montenegro, receiving great feedback.

The next round of promotion took in both Malta and Greece, with no less than four TV appearances on National Broadcaster PBS in less than two days. Serhat made two appearances on National Radio, which included a 50-minute interview during Euromix on Radio Malta2.
In Greece, Serhat appeared on National Broadcaster ERT in a Eurovision show presented by Constantinos Christoforou. He also appeared as the special guest on the premiere of the new TV-show of popular presenter Roula on the private channel Epsilon Tv.
The next stop was in FYR Macedonia, where in Skopje, Serhat was welcomed by journalists from Macedonian, Albanian and Turkish programmes. There he met with more than 15 media groups for interviews and also received huge support regarding his earlier hit with Viktor Lazlo, Total Disguise.
The last stop of Serhat’s European tour was Tirana, where Serhat presented his song to the Albanian audience on several shows including Albanian public broadcaster RTSH.
This week, Serhat is completing his final preparations for the Eurovision performance of his song I Didn't Know, which will be revealed on the first rehearsal in Stockholm's Globen on May the 2nd. Serhat will perform in position number eight in the first Semi Final on May the 10th.
