Vladimir Graić has already won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2007 with his song Molitva performed in Helsinki by Marija Šerifović. This time Graić is going to compose three entries, but only one will represent Serbia in Vienna in 2015. However, it still hasn't been decided who will perform those three songs, but the selection process is well under way. Two of those performers are going to be acclaimed singers, but at the final national selection event, a chance to represent their country will also be given to an up-and-coming talented performer.
In the first phase, all the candidates who are citizens of the Republic of Serbia and are not under 16 years of age should send their personal details and a video clip of their interpretation of a Serbian pop/rock song - not longer than one minute to [email protected].
Applications can be submitted as of today until the 10th of November. Afterwards, auditions will be held in six Serbian cities. Auditions will be held in Niš, Zaječar, Kragujevac, Užice, Novi Sad and Belgrade. The date, time and the location of each audition will be announced at a later date.
A great chance has been given to talented people throughout Serbia, and one of them will be competing with two acclaimed stars in the RTS final live show in February. The votes of the viewers will decide who will represent Serbia at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
"It is a great pleasure to be part of the Eurovision Song Contest again, because it brought us a lot of joy and success. There is a huge interest about Serbia returning to 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, That's why we have decided to ask Vladimir Graić to compose Serbian entry one more time", Dragan Ilić, Head of Serbian Delegation said for Eurovision.tv. "We will not have a festival (national selection) we usually have, but we still believe that our country can be represented with the best song this way as well and that it will confirm our ambitions to achieve great results next year."
