Exclusive: This is the Eurovision 2019 Semi-Final running order!

Today Eurovision.tv can exclusively reveal in which position the 35 countries will perform in the Semi-Finals of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, on 14 and 16 May. The order was decided by the producers, with the aim to create the most exciting television shows possible and ensure each act will stand out.

The running order for the two shows was decided by the show producers at Host Broadcaster KAN. The proposed order in which the acts will perform was approved by Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand and the chairperson of the Reference Group, Dr. Frank Dieter Freiling.

First Semi-Final

The running order of the first Semi-Final on 14 May:

  1. Cyprus
  2. Montenegro
  3. Finland
  4. Poland
  5. Slovenia
  6. Czech Republic
  7. Hungary
  8. Belarus
  9. Serbia
  10. Belgium
  11. Georgia
  12. Australia
  13. Iceland
  14. Estonia
  15. Portugal
  16. Greece
  17. San Marino

Second Semi-Final

The running order of the second Semi-Final on 16 May:

  1. Armenia
  2. Ireland
  3. Moldova
  4. Switzerland
  5. Latvia
  6. Romania
  7. Denmark
  8. Sweden
  9. Austria
  10. Croatia
  11. Malta
  12. Lithuania
  13. Russia
  14. Albania
  15. Norway
  16. The Netherlands

Grand Final

The running order of the Grand Final on 18 May will be determined by the producers, right after the second Semi-Final, in the early hours of Friday 17 May. Traditionally, the starting position for the host country was drawn during the Heads of Delegation in early March, Israel will perform at position 14.

Semi-Final Allocation Draw

The running order is based upon the results of the Semi-Final Allocation Draw that took place in January of this year. In this draw, it was decided in which half of which Semi-Final a participating country will perform.

The 36 — Ukraine had not withdrawn yet at that time — Semi-Finalists were allocated into six pots, based on historical voting patterns as calculated by the contest's official televoting partner Digame. Read more about it here.
