Selecţia Naţională takes place in Romania tonight!

Romania will finally choose their entry tonight when Selecţia Naţională kicks off in Bucharest. Here 15 talented acts will fight it out to win the right to stand on the stage in Baku in May. 

The competition will be split into three shows tonight starting at (in local time) 21:00, 22:00 and 23:00 respectively. The 15 songs will be split into the first two shows and the final show will broadcast the result shortly before midnight. 

Special guests attending the show will be Irelands participant from 2011 and 2012, Jedward as well as France's Anggun who has been taking part in a Europe wide tour to promote her song, Echo (You And I). 

Last year's Romanian participants Hotel FM are also expected to join the line-up of guests.

Romania's recent history in the Eurovision Song Contest has been good although the country has yet to win the competition. We'll see what happens in Baku on 22nd of May, where Romania will participate in the first Semi-Final.
