Secure Norwegian performance

08 May 2009 at 19:07 CEST

As one of the favourites for the victory of the Eurovision Song Contest, Alexander Rybak has become subject of much pressure. When entering the arena today, Alexander declined to giving any comment to Eurovision.tv, as one of very few artists. For his performance on stage, however, he kept the layout of the first rehearsal. The Norwegian delegation was calm about their entry and gave a secure impression, with the pieces already fallen into place. The only noticeable change in the performance of Fairytale was adjustments of the lightning. Unlike several other entries, the imagery of the LED screens is unchanged for Fairytale, with a dreamlike Man in the Moon as the centre of attention.
