Upon arrival, guests were invited to sample some traditional bread, cheese and meats which had been imported in from San Marino.
Artists from many other countries were in attendance, including a surprise appearance from the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest winner Alexander Rybak.
Senit gave a live performance, which began with her singing the German language version of her 2011 entry Stand By and ended with the English language version.
In between, guests were treated to a medley of past Eurovision Song Contest favourites including the 1958 Italian entry Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu which went huge with the crowd.
At the end of the performance, Senit mingled with the press, fans and some of the other artists.
