The 21-year-old singer, Samra Rahimli, has been chosen as Azerbaijani representative in the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. On stage in Stockholm, she will perform Miracle that will be presented this weekend.
Samra previously participated in the Eurovision national selection in 2012. Even though she couldn’t win the lucky ticket back then, 16-year-old Samra became one of the public’s favorite as the youngest contestant. Since then she gained some stage experience in different versions of the music TV show The Voice.
In 2015 Samra participated in The Voice of Turkey where she made it to the quarterfinals and in March 2016 she became the first season’s finalist of The Voice of Azerbaijan where she performed Say Something.
Don't miss Samra's song presentation of Miracle this weekend on Eurovision.tv.
The artist and the song were selected internally based on closed ballot decision by ITV and the opinion survey of more than 100 music and television industry experts and some Eurovision fans from over 35 European countries.
