Sabina Babayeva culminates European tour

Over the last couple of months Sabina Babayeva who will represent Azerbaijan at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest with When The Music Dies has been touring various countries all over Europe to promote her song, which she will be performing on home turf in Baku on the 26th of May so the pressure is on!

As part of her tour, Sabina visited the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium and Malta amongst others on a promotional journey. In the Netherlands she performed at the biggest pre Eurovision Song Contest event, Eurovision In Concert at the Melkweg in Amsterdam and in London her dream came true when she finally got to see Big Ben for the first time. Here she also got to perform in the UK Eurovision Party at the Shadow Lounge.

In addition to the above, Sabina visited Belgium and Malta, where in Malta she bumped into her friend Can Bonomo from Turkey where she haggled with him to buy fruit. We attach the video below for you and promise that it is quite entertaining:

From wrestling to jazz... Sabina impresses

Sabina's promotion has taken her beyond events relating to the Eurovision Song Contest and in fact on the 12th of May she performed for a global audience at the opening of the Men's Wrestling FILA Freestyle World Cup in Baku. On the 15th of May she will at a special jazz concert in Kyiv, Ukraine with other jazz musicians from the region. 

After this she will return to Baku to begin rehearsing for the final of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest where on the 26th of May she will represent her native Azerbaijan with the song When The Music Dies.
