As the Russian broadcaster of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, Channel One Russia is launching a public contest to select next year's Russian entry.

Authors, composers and singers are requested to apply their contest forms and recordings to the Channel One Russia Music Desk.

Russia placed second, only behind Sweden, at the latest Eurovision Song Contest in Baku last May thanks to the Buranovskiye Babushki and their Party For Everybody.
