
Running order for Eurovision 2018 Semi-Finals revealed
03 April 2018 at 13:05 CESTThe running order for the two shows was decided by the producers at Host Broadcaster RTP. The proposed order in which the acts will perform was approved by EBU Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand and the Chairman of the Reference Group, Dr. Frank Dieter Freiling.
Since 2013 the producers decide upon the running order of the shows in order to create a more exciting television show and ensure that each song stands out.Â
In January the Semi-Final Allocation Draw took place, determining the countries that will participate in each of the two Semi-Finals of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, and in which half they will perform.
At the request of Italian broadcaster broadcaster RAI, Italy will broadcast and vote in the Second Semi-Final on Thursday 10th May. The request was approved by the Reference Group. France and Germany were drawn to vote in the second Semi-Final. Spain, the United Kingdom and Portugal will vote in the first Semi-Final.Â

The running order of the Grand Final will be determined by the producers as well, right after the second Semi-Final, in the early hours of Friday the 11th of May.
