Rockin' 1000 record 'Te Deum' in Turin

The biggest band on the planet, Rockin' 1000, have recorded a rock version of Eurovision anthem ‘Te Deum’ to be used in Rai's promotion of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Making their way to Piazza San Carlo, Turin, earlier today, the massive ensemble attracted 500 musicians from all over Europe, including vocalists, drummers, bassists, and guitarists to perform a new version of the Te Deum, which will be released on Saturday 16 April.

This spectacular event was followed by another special performance: the musicians performed to the tune of John Lennon’s Give Peace A Chance, providing an emotional moment dedicated to music and peace, the central theme of the 66th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.
