Want to know how the hair and makeup teams are bringing the gloss to Rotterdam? With safety... and plenty of style.

This year’s hair styling is provided by Eurovision’s Presenting Partner Moroccanoil, who have constructed a purpose-built salon in the Delegation Bubble that ensures all the performers can be styled in a safe and socially-distanced way.

The salon is staffed by Moroccanoil’s own team of stylists and brand ambassadors, who are tested for COVID-19 before the enter the arena every day. Their job is to help the performers look their best on and off stage, and they have the full range of Moroccanoil styling tools and treatments at their disposal.

Make-up has been handled slightly differently from regular years, with artists required to do their own make-up through the first week of rehearsals, and professional artistes only available for the live shows. This minimises the amount of up-close contact performers have outside their delegation bubble, because one thing you can’t do in a socially-distanced way is apply makeup.

Some delegations have opted to play it extra safe and bring their own hair and make up artists, but for most the chance of a little pampering from Moroccanoil and Eurovision’s professional make-up artists is too good to turn down. Looking fabulous in a Covid-safe way? What’s not to love?

Make sure to follow Moroccanoil on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook and head over to their website to make sure you don’t miss out.
