Eurovision stars celebrate Pride across Europe

Summertime means Pride time all over Europe, celebrating the LGBTQ+ community. As part of the festivities, Pride parades, cultural festivals and concerts take place where the Eurovision stars make an appearance.

Many of the Eurovision 2019 stars travelled across Europe to either attend or perform at a Pride event. From Barcelona to Amsterdam, from Tel Aviv to Skopje, they were everywhere.

Ireland's Sarah McTernan dressed colourfully for the Limerick LGBTQ Pride Festival in Ireland, a festival that started in 2001.

North Macedonia's Tamara Todevska wore a rainbow skirt at the first ever North Macedonian Pride. She performed her Eurovision song Proud, the song which Tamara won the jury vote with. She eventually finished 7th in the Grand Final.

Norway's KEiiNO performed at Stockholm Pride at the beginning of August.

John Lundvik from Sweden was also spotted at the Stockholm Pride, as he performed his Eurovision song Too Late For Love.

Not only did we see Eurovision stars from this year's Eurovision Song Contest at Pride, former participants Conchita (2014), Eleni Foureira (2018) and Netta (2018) also made appearances at Pride parades across Europe.
