Backstage Rehearsal Semi-final 2 Thomas Hanses
Earlier today, the first run-through Dress Rehearsal of the second Semi-Final took place. Tonight, juries in the 18 participating countries, Germany, France and Italy will tune in to judge the entries. They will already determine 50% of the outcome of tomorrow's second Semi-Final.

Between the first and second Dress Rehearsal, the production crew make countless small and big improvements to make sure tomorrow's live show is the best it can be. Our photographers were there during the first Dress Rehearsal of the second Semi-Final to capture each of the 18 performing acts:

Tonight's acts will perform in front of a live audience of thousands of people at Lisbon's Altice Arena, as well as for 105 jurors who will gather at their respective broadcasters to watch tonight's show via an internal satellite uplink to judge performances. Their rankings will be held as close-kept secrets as suspense grows in anticipation of tomorrow's live show.

Eurovision.tv will go backstage during tonight's Dress Rehearsal to make sure you don't miss anything that is happening here in Lisbon. Our live blog will start shortly before the beginning of the Dress Rehearsal at 21:00 CEST.

Speaking of backstage... We asked some of this year's contestants what they do to prepare for their performance, just before they go on stage. Check out @Eurovision for more!
