  3. Stig - Laululeija 17.8%

Among the guest stars we had Paradise Oskar and last year's Finnish entry Da Da Dam, which reached the Final in Düsseldorf. Then, the winner was announced: the song in the Swedish language, När Jag Blundar (When I Close My Eyes), performed by Pernilla Karlsson and written by Jonas Karlsson.

Pernilla Karlsson's biggest chance

Pernilla tried every chance to shoot to success. She studied music and piano and was the "Sankta Lucia" maiden as a little girl, among many other children's theater performances where she had the opportunity to sing. In 2006 she participated in the song contest in Finland-Sweden "Världens Minsta schlagerfestival". She was 15 years old, and it turned out to be a great experience, as she won the contest.

I sing the songs that mean something to me. They should have a message and an idea behind it, so you're able to empathize with them naturally

Thereafter, she started to gave up singing little by little until her brother created their own record label and production studio in Helsinki. "He made me excited again about music and singing, with a more adult way of thinking; I began to really believe and feel that singing is my thing, after all".
