Palata Srbije gets ready for opening party

Over 2,000 invited guests are expected at the official opening party of the 53rd Eurovision Song Contest, which is hosted by the City of Belgrade. Not only will the guests be welcomed with a wide variety of Serbian and international delights, there will also be several opening speeches and performances to entertain the contestants and their delegations. 

Of course, the opening party gives the 43 contestants the opportunity to get to know eachother, or to catch up! In the lead up to the opening party, Their Highnesses Prince Alexander and Crown Princess Katherine host the contestants in a more intimate setting at the White Palace. This reception starts at 18:30, and is on invitation only. 

Eurovision.tv editors, photographers and our the video crew will be attending the opening party to interview several of the participants and guests, and will report back to you tomorrow morning with the latest news and gossip from the red carpet!
