The 19 participants of the second Semi-Final for the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest have just one dress rehearsal left to make changes in their performance. According to experts, the outcome of this Semi-Final is extremely hard to predict, so we might be in for some surprises tonight!
When and where to watch?
At 21:00 CET, the first Semi-Final will be shown live in all the 19 participating countries and also live on British BBC, Serbian RTS and France4. Lots of other countries will broadcast as well, so check the time-tables of your local broadcasters to see if the Semi-Final will be shown in your country. Of course, Eurovision.tv will stream the show live! There will also be the possibility to watch the show on demand for the next 7 days, so you can watch your favourites over and over again!
How to vote?
Televoters from the 19 participating countries will be able to vote for their favourite songs, as well as the TV audience in the UK, Serbia and France. The local televoting numbers will be displayed on screen during the show and will also be available on your national broadcaster's website.
How to qualify?
All participating countries, as well as the UK, Serbia and France, will vote in true Eurovision Song Contest style, giving 1 to 8, 10 and 12 points. The top-9 from the televoters will qualify for the Final, as well as the highest ranked contestant in the back-up jury vote who did not qualify yet. However, tonight, we will only learn which countries qualify to take part in the Final. The scoreboard featuring the complete results will be revealed after the Final, to keep the tension high!
Qualifiers' press conference and draw
Eurovision.tv will have exclusive coverage during the show, during the winners' press-conference - where the starting positions for the final will be decided - and the after-party, so make sure you keep on checking Eurovision.tv during the evening!
