All Aboard! Fans of the nautical nation will be excited to learn of three Portuguese treats making waves today: ‘How To Eurovision’, a Twitter Space party, and Suzy’s new single!

First up, we take a look at Portugal’s history within the Contest in our How To Eurovision series, covering everything from the Carnation Revolution to their record-breaking tsunami of points when Salvador Sobral broke their dry spell in 2017.

Then, this evening, we invite you to our first ever Twitter Space chat, hosted by Suzy – the Eurovision legend responsible for Portugal’s 2014 entry Quero Ser Tua.

Suzy (now going by the stage name Guera) will be speaking to fans as well as some very special Portuguese Eurovision guests. All you have to do to be a part of this exclusive chit-chat is to follow the official Eurovision Twitter account and log on at 20:00 CET this evening (Friday 19 November).

And if that weren’t enough, we can also reveal Guera’s new single is out now to enjoy across all streaming platforms.

As explained by the artist:

‘Higher speaks to us of transformation, of overcoming, of looking at ourselves, at everything we’ve done, where we came from and where we want to go. Higher helps us to understand that we are always in time to start over, we are always in time to meet, to realize who we really are.’

Festival da Canção 2022 might be four months away, but grab yourself a pastel de nata and join in with the Portuguese party!
