We’re excited to announce the Official Eurovision Song Contest Podcast has launched across all of your favourite streaming platforms - so make sure to listen and subscribe.

🎧 LISTEN to the Official Eurovision Song Contest Podcast: Episode 1 (Friday 8 April) and Episode 2 (Monday 11 April) on all your favourite streaming services, including: Spotify, Apple, and Acast.

Episode 1 features iconic Norwegian popsters KEiiNO, Icelandic podcaster Júlía Margrét Einarsdóttir, and the Executive Supervisor Martin Österdahl.

Hosted by music presenter and reporter Steve Holden, the Official Eurovision Song Contest Podcast will feature news and interviews with this year’s artists, iconic Eurovision legends, and the people responsible for making the Contest happen.

It will offer Eurovision fans a look behind the scenes in Turin, and will feature a range of diverse voices from across Europe and beyond.

Steve has previously worked for BBC Radio 1 in the United Kingdom, where he was the music reporter for the station’s youth-focussed news programme, Newsbeat. He’s reported on five Eurovision Song Contests (Stockholm 2016, Lisbon 2018, Tel Aviv 2019, and both Rotterdam 2020 and 2021) for Radio 1 and BBC News, and has made several documentaries about the Contest.

‘Anyone who knows me knows how passionate I am about the Eurovision Song Contest, ' says Steve. ‘I know what the event means to its millions of fans around the world. In my coverage of the Contest, I’ve wanted to reflect how popular it’s become, especially with younger audiences.’

‘With this podcast, I want to bring fans as much Eurovision content as possible. I’m looking forward to chatting to the Eurovision Class of ‘22, and giving a unique insight into this year’s event. I’ll also be talking to radio and podcast presenters from across Europe to give their opinions and thoughts on how everything’s coming together. I can’t wait to get going.’

A passionate music fan, Steve has covered global music events such as the Superbowl in Atlanta and SXSW festival in Austin, as well as the UK’s biggest festivals. He’s interviewed artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Robyn, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Stormzy and Little Mix, as well as Eurovision winners Måneskin, Duncan Laurence and Netta.

A trailer episode has gone live today across podcast platforms, with the first full episode landing on Friday 8 April featuring special guests KEiiNO.
