Norway: Line-up complete as Lucky Lips get wildcard

Lucky Lips failed to make the cut on Saturday night when the third and final Semi-Final of Melodi Grand Prix took place in the town of Larvik. The group thought it was all over until they were visted by the musical director for the show, Vivi Stenberg on Saturday night.

Here she imparted the news that a specially selected professional jury had chosen Lucky Lips and the song Sweet And Heavy to take the tenth spot in Saturday night's line-up, thereby being handed the so-called Wildcard.

When reacting to the news, lead singer Malin Pettersen said, "this is completely unexpected and so much fun! I am totally overwhelmed, and just think how happy our parents and grandparents will be".

Now that the line-up for Saturday's show is complete, NRK have also released the starting order. Vidar Busk will have the honour or opening the show and Sirkus Eliassen of rounding it up:

A spectacular show

NRK has promised an excellent night of entertainment on Saturday when Norway's entry for the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest is chosen. As per usual a combined televote and jury vote will decide the final outcome, with four acts qualifying to a so-called Gold Final before the final voting takes place and the winner announced. will have a team in Oslo bringing you exclusive coverage of this, one of Europe's most popular national selections.

Ahead of Saturday's show we will be profiling each of the ten acts to give you a better idea of who is competing. In addition you will be able to watch the show LIVE right here at via our WebTV.

Norway will take part in the second half of the second Semi-Final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö on the 16th of May.
