Käärijä will be performing for Eurovision fans in Malmö
With just a few days to go until the grand opening of Eurovision Village in Malmö, the city has now released news of a fresh new batch of artists joining the existing lineup of performers.
Arvingarna represented Sweden at the 1993 Contest with their song Eloise

With visitors soon arriving to the Host City of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, it's time to get hyped up for some of the performances that we're going to be able to watch throughout show week at Eurovision Village.

On Monday 29 April, the city of Malmö released a brand-new selection of names that will no doubt entice plenty of Eurovision fans over to Folkets Park for some exclusive live shows. The news comes after organisers put out the first list of acts that we could look forward to, back at the beginning of April. You can peruse the full line up right here.

These are the new additions just announced:

Kalush Orchestra

Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra are already Eurovision legends having won the Contest back in 2022, when it took place in Turin, Italy. The band won with their song Stefania, giving Ukraine its third victory in what was less than 20 years since the nation made its first appearance at the Contest.

Since that grand triumph, Kalush Orchestra have charted all over the world, and played at festivals such as Glastonbury and SXSW. They'll perform on the Euphoria stage of Eurovision Village on the day of the Grand Final, Saturday 11 May.

Käärijä, Zoé and Arvingarna

On Friday 10 May, we can look forward to a stellar lineup of entertainment, with Eurovision Village booking three big names from the Eurovision universe.

Less than one year after Liverpool 2023, Käärijä is making his way to 2024's Host City, too. The rapper who finished in 2nd place at the 67th Eurovision Song Contest with Cha Cha Cha will be heading over the border from Finland to Sweden, to delight Eurovision fans once more with that inimitable performance style of his.

In 1993 they represented Sweden at Millstreet with their song Eloise, finishing in 7th place with 89 points. Now, the boys from the band are making their way down to Malmö to perform their song again, and hopefully giving the audience a rendition of their recent Melodifestivalen hits I Do and Tänker Inte Alls Gå Hem

On Friday 10 May we'll have another Eurovision winner performing - Zoé, who scored victory at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for France in 2023 with her trophy-winning song Cœur

All three acts will perform on the Euphoria stage.

Drömhus and Gunilla Persson

25 years ago in 1999, Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest with Take Me To Your Heaven, performed by Charlotte Nilsson. But it was very nearly Drömhus that represented the Nordic nation in Jerusalem, with her song Stjärna På Himmelen. The dance anthem competed in the Swedish pre-selection Melodifestivalen that year and gave Take Me To Your Heaven a run for its money, finishing in second place on the night.

Therese Grankvist, aka Drömhus

Now, Drömhus (aka Therese Grankvist) gets to perform Stjärna På Himmelen to Eurovision audiences a quarter of a century later, as she takes to the Euphoria stage on Sunday 5 May. The artist will be joined by Gunilla Persson, the Swedish Hollywood Wife who competed in Melodifestivalen back in February and ended up scoring a huge streaming hit with her song La La Gunilla (I Won't Shake).

Pandora and Da Buzz

One of the biggest dance acts across Europe in the '90s shares the stage with one of the biggest dance across Europe in the '00s, as Pandora and Da Buzz head to Malmö to get audiences ramped up and ready.

The two Swedish acts (who both competed at Melodifestivalen in 2003, coincidentally) will be performing some of their most beloved hits, getting both visitors and locals bopping along.

Herreys and Raylee

At Eurovision Village's opening night on Saturday 4 May, we'll be taking it back a whopping 40 years, to when Sweden won the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time. That momentous victory came courtesy of the trio Herreys and their song Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley. The brothers are still together and will be making the trip south to Skåne, playing a big part in welcoming everyone to Malmö and getting them into the Eurovision spirit.

Joining Herreys on 4 May will be the Norwegian artist Raylee. The pop princess has been a big hit at Norway's Eurovision pre-selection Melodi Grand Prix in recent years, delivering big fan favourite tunes such as Hero, Wild and Louder
