The Story Behind the Brand

It all started in 2008. Moroccanoil co-founder Carmen Tal was traveling abroad when she first experienced the transformative power of argan oil. After witnessing her hair go from damaged to shiny and smooth, she went on a quest to share the argan oil hair treatment with women around the world.

What began over a decade ago as a single, revolutionary product that pioneered a new category in the beauty industry, has now grown into a full line of hair and body products, all infused with their signature, world famous argan oil. Now, Moroccanoil is available in over 65 countries worldwide and its mission is stronger than ever:

'Today our goal remains unchanged—to empower beautiful transformations and create products that inspire confidence.'
