Mor Ve Ötesi presents Turkish entry

15 February 2008 at 15:13 CET

At 18.30 CET at the TRT studios, a press conference will be held to present the Turkish song for Belgrade. The band will perform the song playback and live. A mini-concert will be given for the fans present in the studio. The performance will be aired live by TRT's evening news.

Mor Ve Ötesi was established in January of 1995 by Kerem Kabadayi (drums), Harun Tekin (vocals/guitar), Derin Esmer (vocals/guitar) and Alper Tekin (bass) – four close high school friends – in Istanbul, Turkey. The band gained enormous popularity in Turkey, and describes 2008 as "a year of action and opportunities to take their already-brilliant career further to reach new territories and wider audiences."

Meanwhile, Turkish broadcaster TRT re-launched its Eurovision Song Contest website.
