Among the entrants are several familiar faces who have appeared on the Eurovision stage before: both Geta Burlacu and Nelly Ciobanu, who represented Moldova in the 2008 and 2009 Eurovision Song Contest respectively, will give it another go this year.
Sunstroke Project and Olia Tira, whose 2010 entry Runaway turned out to become one of the best-selling Eurovision entries recently, are also back, this time prominently featuring their most popular band member, Epic Sax Guy!
Several known names who have not yet had the chance to represent their home country in the Eurovision Song Contest, will also participate this year, including Pasha Parfeny, Katalina Rusu and Anna Constantinova, among others.
Now a jury will listen to all the songs and invite selected artists to live auditions. Based on their live performing skills, 20 of them will get the chance to participate in the final of the Moldovan national selection, which will be broadcast live on March 10th.
Apart from the expert jury, the TV viewers and internet users will also have a say in the selection of the finalists: Three more acts will receive a wildcard for the final based on an internet vote which is yet to be launched.
