Moje 3 to represent Serbia!

In an exciting evening show, the Serbian TV public, by means of televoting, picked the act that will represent the Balkanic country in Malmö. Out of five acts that had qualified from Saturday's semi-final of Beosong, they picked Moje 3, who sang Ljubav je svuda.

The winners

Three finalists of the music show "The First Voice of Serbia" will join forces to try and joined forces to win the ticket to Malmö. The winner of this show is 21-year-old Mirna Radulović who demonstrated that she is adept in all musical genres, from pop and rock to the old, traditional folk songs. She also plays violin, guitar and piano. 

Nevena Božovic is 18 years old and hails from Kosovska Mitrovica, a girl with a powerful voice who is now a third year student at the Belgrade Faculty of Music. At the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 in Rotterdam she represented Serbia and won the third place with the song for which she wrote both music and lyrics herself.

The third link in the ensemble is 19-year-old Sara Jovanović, a girl who has mastered the art of scenic movement. She was born and raised in Rome, Italy. Her energetic performances and specific timbre of voice are the reason for her success at the First Voice of Serbia competition.

The show

The Beosong final started with a brass version of the Eurovision anthem, and a dance performance to last year's winning song, Euphoria. Maja Nikolić presented the show on stage, while Gorica Nešović and Dragan Ilić reported from backstage and the green room.

The five competing acts showed a huge variety of musical styles: Saška started with a soft ballad, while SKY's set the stage on fire with their energetic dance act. Then, the only male contestant, Dušan Svilar, showed his elaborate performance involving folk instruments and dancing.

Marija, the fourth contestant, proved that she has indeed a fantastic voice, and her soulish ballad caught the hearts of the audience in the RTS studio. The last act was the girl band Moje 3, and it couldn't be overheard that they had brought a whole lot of fans with them!

In the interval, several participants of the show "I have talent" performed, as well as Oliver Mandić, a famous Serbian singer.

The results

This was the line-up of tonight's show (in order of appearance, winner in bold):

  1. Duga u tvojim očima - Saška Janković (3rd place)
  2. Magija - SKY's (5th place)
  3. Spas - Dušan Svilar (2nd place)
  4. Halo - Marija Mihajlović (4th place)
  5. Ljubav je svuda - Moje 3: Mirna Radulović, Nevena Božović, Sara Jovanović (1st place)
