The feeling in all over Sweden is very festive and young and old are looking forward to the final of Melodifestivalen which is the most watched show in Sweden every year.

I do get flashbacks entering this building. The size is impressive, and I know how huge the feeling is performing in the live show here. Sanna Nielsen

All the newspapers and all TV-channels have their own section about the Swedish final these days and many of the participants have been named as possible winners. The ones being mentioned the most as the probable Swedish entry in the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest have been Eric Saade's Popular and Danny's In The Club.

The voting in this year's Melodifestivalen has been changed compared to previous years and will be a 50/50% mixture of 11 foreign jury groups in 11 different countries on the one side and televote on the other side. The televote points will be distributed by the percentage of votes that the songs have collected.

The show will be streamed live on SVT's Melodifestivalen site starting from 20:00h CET.

I really wanna win the final. And the reason that I wanna win is that I want Sweden to win the Eurovision Song Contest. If I win here I win the big contest as well, that's a promise from me. I'll win it one way or the other – winning it, or stealing it. Swingfly

Eurovision.tv had the possibility to talk to two of the hot favourites of this year's Melodifestivalen, Eric Saade and Danny. Have a look!
