Meet the Spanish team for Baku

The five-member choir that will accompany Pastora Soler in her performance in Baku is formed by: Rebeca Rods (mezzo-soprano), Mey Green (Soprano), Sheila Blanco (soprano), Antonio Tomás Sepúlveda (Tenor) and Miguel Antelo (Tenor). The five experienced professionals form the choir chosen by Pastora and her team. Francis Viñolo, choreographer with national and international experience, will be responsible for the choreography onstage.

The backing singers

Rebecca is a Galician singer, composer and arranger. In July 2009 she created her own gospel choir, Black Light Gospel Choir. For this young lady this will be her second Eurovision experience, having already backed D'NASH in 2007. The second member of the choir is Mey Green from Madrid. A finalist for 'X Factor', she has participated in several selections for the Eurovision Song Contest and is geared to achieve his artistic dreams.

The third female voice of the choir is called Sheila White, from Salamanca. Trained in piano and singing she has a degree in Communication Studies and also writes her own songs. Sheila at present a member of the choir Black Light Gospel Choir.

The first male member of the chorus is Antonio Tomás Sepulveda from Madrid with studies in music theory, singing, piano and percussion. He works as a professional singer and has worked with artists such as Marta Sanchez and Daniel Diges. The last backing singer Miguel Antelo, also from Madrid, is an actor, singer, director, producer and composer who began his career as a television presenter and as an actor in musicals.

The choreographer

Francis Viñolo will be responsible for designing the choreography of the Spanish performance on the 26th of May in Baku. Viñolo was trained at Spain's Royal Conservatory of Dance and at London's Royal Dance Company specialising in classical and modern ballet and tap dancing. He has been working in entertainment, music and choreography for Pastora for over ten years, and knows her better than anyone else, as Francis is Pastora's husband.

Spain will perform as song number 19 in the Final of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest on the 26th of May with the power ballad Quedate Conmigo / Stay With Me which you can check out below:
