In the first rehearsal of her up-tempo song 'Chameleon', Michela debuted a brightly-lit and colourful rendition of her stage performance. Backed by 4 dancers, the vibrant performance ended on the same high energy note from which it began.

Michela will perform 11th in the second Semi-Final on Thursday 16 May at Expo Tel Aviv in Israel.

About Michela

Michela has only just turned 18 years of age and currently lives on the tiny island of Gozo, part of the Maltese archipelago and known as a hidden gem in the Mediterranean. Her voice is described by many as memorable and powerful, with a breathtaking breaking point. She loves a wide range of genres from pop and country to soul.

What happens on stage?

In keeping with the tempo, Michela and her four backing dancers are not still for even a minute of their performance. From a bedroom, to the ocean, to a desert scene, like a chameleon changing its colours, the staging and background images change at fast pace throughout the song. To, at different points, both blend in and contrast the colourful scenes around her, Michela is dressed head to toe in this years' choice colour - white.
