Malta reveals 40 songs in the running for Eurovision 2023

Maltese broadcaster PBS has revealed the 40 songs and artists competing to represent Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool next year.

A mixture of established domestic acts and up-and-coming talent will compete across 4 quarter-finals, one semi-final and, of course, a grand final.

The Malta Eurovision finalists:

  1. Alone - Maxine Pace

  2. Anything Can Happen - Jason Scerri

  3. Blackout - Bradley Debono

  4. Bridle Road - Dario Bezzina

  5. Broken Hill - Andre

  6. Checkmate - Brooke 

  7. Creeping Walls - Nathan

  8. Dance (Our Own Party) - The Busker

  9. Dream - James Louis

  10. Eku Ċar - Christian Arding

  11. Girls Get Down - Kirstie

  12. Guess What - Eliana Gomez Blanco

  13. Haunted - Lyndsay

  14. Heartbreaker - Stefan

  15. I Depend On You -  Giada

  16. In The Silence - Ryan Hili

  17. Indescribable - Chris Grech

  18. It’ll Be OK - Dan

  19. La La Land - Cheryl Balzan

No further details have been given yet, but the 40 acts will be following in the footsteps of Emma Muscat who represented the island nation in Turin with I Am What I Am.
