What happens on stage?
Mahmood stands in front of blue triangular LED screen shapes and spotlights shine out from under the stage into the audience. He has 3 dancers on stage with him that interact with the screen as an image of the Italian singer shatters.
The screen shows the English translation of Mahmood's Italian lyrics. This is a theme that carries over from Italy's Eurovision 2018 staging.
