Monday night, the Polish people decided to send Magdalena Tul as their representative to the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest. The national final of Poland is known as Krajowe Eliminacje and was broadcast on prime time nationally in TVP 1, as well as via a satellite broadcast and in a webcast.
Magdalena Tul's Jestem was decided completely by televoting to be the Polish representative for Germany.
The complete line-up in Poland consisted of ten acts and songs:
• Magdalena Tul – Jestem
• SheMoans – Supergirl
• Ajda Fijal – Hot Like Fire
• Alizma – Bow To The Bow
• IKA – Say
• Roan – Maybe
• Anna Gogola – Ktos Taki Jak Ty
• The Trash – Things Go Belter With Rock
• ZoSia – Scream Out Louder
• Formula RC – Ja, Ty I Ty I Ja
Magdalena Tul, SheMoans, Roan and Anna Gogola have been chosen to participate by a professional jury, with the remaining acts being added as wild cards.
Poland has been participating in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1994, with the best result already in the debut year, when Edyta Gorniak scored a second place for her homeland.
In last year's Eurovision Song Contest, Poland was represented by Marcin Mroziński with the song Legenda, but didn't manage to qualify to the Grand Final.
