London Preview Party welcomes acts old and new

This will be the sixth annual preview party event to be held in London, and once again Paddy O'Connell, who was the BBC Semi-Final commentator from 2004 until 2010, will host the party, and he will be joined in that task by former United Kingdom entrant, Nicki French, who sang Don't Play That Song Again in the 2000 edition of Europe's Favourite TV Show when it was staged in Stockholm.

Another former United Kingdom entrant, John Allison, who was one half of the duo The Allisons, who represented the nation in 1961, finishing in second place, with the song Are You Sure?, will be making a guest appearance, and performing his entry, as well as signing copies of the book Songs For Europe - The United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest.

So far, the following artists from the 2013 contest will be performing their entries at the party;

  • Austria - Shine sung by Natália Kelly
  • Belarus - Solayoh sung by Alonya Lanskaya
  • Finland - Marry Me sung by Krista Siegfrids
  • Greece - Alcohol Is Free sung by Koza Mostra & Agathonas Iakovidis
  • Malta - Tomorrow sung by Gianluca
  • Ukraine - Gravity sung by Zlata Ognevich

More guests will be announced in due course.

In the afternoon of Sunday 21st April, all the artists will be conducting a series of interviews with various media outlets.

Tickets cost £25.00, plus handling fee, and the event gets underway at 19:00 on Sunday the 21st April, with the acts taking to the stage from 20:30. Following the party fans will be able to dance the night away to Eurovision classics from all decades thanks to DJ Dave Simmons. Previous London Preview Party's have been sell out events.
