The temperature is rising across Europe and in the Eurovision bubble. Last night, 5th of April, London hosted this year's second preparty and Eurovision.tv was there to catch up with the artists.

Ahead of the party, press had the opportunity to get to know some of this year's participating acts.

The London Eurovision Party took place at Café de Paris in the heart of the city, where hundreds of excited fans got to see some of their favourite acts perform their Eurovision 2018 song live on stage.

Love for the Eurovision community... and for each other

Eurovision preparties take place every year all over Europe. According to Ireland's Ryan O’Shaughnessy it is a great opportunity for participants to get to know each other: "It's great to hear their story and meet them in person before traveling to Portugal."

ZiBBZ's Stee added: "I didn't realise how big the Eurovision community is before I came here. The audience here has been wonderful!"

Special guests

Not only did the crowd get to enjoy the 2018 Eurovision stars perform on stage, special guests also joined for the occasion: Lucie Jones, the United Kingdom's 2017 participant, as well as  Corinne Hermès, Luxembourg's winner of 1983, made their appearances.

What's next?

After Eurovision PreParty Riga and the London Eurovision Party it is time for Israel Calling, from 8 to 11 April. Eurovision.tv will be right there to bring you more exclusive content about and with the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest participants.

All aboard for the next destination?

The Eurovision.tv team would like to thank the organisers of the London Eurovision Party for their hospitality.
