The Roop performed 'Discotheque' at the Lithuanian national selection LRT

This weekend, Lithuania will decide their representative for Eurovision 2021. Meanwhile, Melodi Grand Prix continues with its fourth Semi-Final in Norway as Sweden kicks off its national selection, Melodifestivalen.

It's decision time for Lithuania

After 2 heats and a Semi-Final of the Lithuanian selection ‘Pabandom iš naujo! (Let’s try again)’ only 6 songs remain in contention. Will The Roop win again for the second year in a row or will one of the other 5 finalists claim victory and their place in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021?

Melodifestivalen begins in Sweden

Melodifestivalen 2020 was one of the last shows to take place with an audience in last years national selection season for the Eurovision Song Contest. Sweden's biggest music entertainment show is back again with a star filled line-up spread out over four Semi-Finals.

In the first Semi-Final you can see the following acts perform:

Kadiatou - One Touch
Lillasyster - Pretender
Jessica Andersson - Horizon
Paul Rey - The Missing Piece
Arvingarna - Tänker Inte Alls Gå Hem
Nathalie Brydolf - Fingerprints
Danny Saucedo - Dandi Dansa

This year the show will not travel around Sweden due to the pandemic. All shows will take place in Stockholm.

Norway gets ready for their fourth Semi-Final

Melodi Grand Prix (MGP), the Norwegian selection show for the Eurovision Song Contest, enters its fourth week. In the past 3 shows we've seen 7 acts make it to the Final. This weekend, 2 more songs will be added to the Final line-up. Atle Pettersen is pre-qualified and will showcase his song World On Fire during the show. Out of the 4 songs participating only 1 will join Atle and the remaining finalists in the Final.
