02 March 2011 at 01:02 CET

The Greek national selection show will be streamed live in our Eurovision.tv player at 21.00 CET

The show will be held in the Greek broadcaster ERT's Studio in the Katehaki area of Athens. All six acts have been busy rehearsing since Sunday and have been making various appearances in a last ditch bid to gain extra support and momentum for their respective entries.

The line up for tonight's show is as follows :

  • Kokkina Halia - Come With Me
  • Valando Trifonos - The Time Is Now
  • Triimitonio - Hamogela
  • Antigoni Psyhrami - It’s All Greek To Me!
  • Loucas Yiorkas feat. Stereo Mike - Watch My Dance
  • Nikki Ponte - I Don’t Wanna Dance

Reality show backgrounds

Kokkina Halia were formed in 2008, and have gained success after appearing on the Greek version of X Factor.

Valando Trifonos is the winner of Greek Idol 2010, and has actually participated in the Cypriot national selection of 2006.

Triimitonio are a three piece band, and again the guys hail from the Greek X Factor show.

Antigoni Psyhrami was a contestant in Greek Idol 2010, so this is the second time she will compete with Valando Trifonos.

Loucas Yiorkas was the winner of the first Greek X Factor competition and he is considered locally to be one of the favourites to win tonight. He is joined by Stereo Mike for his performance.

Nikki Ponte is of Canadian descent and is also from the Greek X Factor where she finished in third place in her series.

The winning song will be chosen by a combination of the Greek public televote and a jury vote, both of which will get a 50% weighting in the overall final result.

Greece have been competing in the Eurovision Song Contest since 1974, and have scored one victory to date when Helena Paparizou won in Kyiv in 2005 with My Number One.
