Live at Eurovision.tv tonight: Slovenia's decision

27 February 2011 at 05:59 CET

Sunday night, Slovenia will make the choice for the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest.

One of the ten candidates in the competition, known as EMA 2011, is Omar Naber. He represented his country in 2005 with the self-composed song Stop, finishing in 12th place in his Semi-Final. In EMA 2009, Omar Naber gave it a new shot with the song I Still Carry On, finishing in second place and narrowly missing out on another Eurovision Song Contest experience.

In the very same position of EMA 2010, the domestic star Nina Pušlar ended up. She is also back for more in 2011.

This is the full line-up of EMA 2011:

1. Rock Partyzani – Time For Revolution

2. Tabu – Moje Luči

3. Nina Pušlar – Bilo Lepo Bi

4. Maja Keuc – Vanilija

5. Feliks Langus – Disko Raj

6. Leeloojamais – Slovenka

7. April – Ladadidej

8. Sylvain, Mike Vale feat. Hannah Mancini – Ti Si Tisti

9. Time to time – Pravi Čas

10. Omar Naber – Bistvo Skrito Je Očem

All the artists were selected internally, without a public call for entries taking place.

During the national final, a jury will select two super-finalists out of the ten acts. The winner of the two acts will be selected by televoting. The EMA 2011 show will be hosted by Klemen Slakonja.

In the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, Slovenia was represented by Ansambel Žlindra and Kalamari with the song Narodnozabavni Rock, finishing in 16th place in the second Semi-Final.

You can watch the national selection live at Eurovision.tv, starting from 20:00 CET!
