A first glimpse of Ieva Zasimauskaitė on the Eurovision rehearsal stage revealed a simple and heartfelt rendition of 'When We're Old' by the Lithuanian singer.

It was an emotional performance from Lithuania's Ieva Zasimauskaitė. In her first official rehearsal, dimmed lights lit to Ieva sitting centre stage, delivering a heartfelt performance of her song When We're Old. As the song progresses, she gets up to move across the stage and is met at the end by her husband, Marius Kiltinavičius, who starred along side her in the official video for the song.

Written and composed by Vytautas Bikus, the song When We're Old seems to have been made for the message that Ieva delivers so clearly. "The message of this song is that love can last forever, that it is the most powerful thing in this universe and that love can defeat all the fears that we may have." During the performance, black-and-white figures of people walking, dancing and showing love for each other appear on screen alongside her.

Ieva is no stranger to the Eurovision Family of Events, having already participated in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest as a backing vocalist when she was fourteen years old. Her solo career took off in 2012 when she finished second at The Voice of Lithuania, and when she took part in the Lithuanian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest reaching the finals two years ago.
