Lena grabs VIVA's Best Female Artist award

Lena has become one of the most popular singers on her home market of Germany, after her huge success after the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest and the additional attention she got at this year's contest with her song Taken By A Stranger.

Now, she was also awarded by the most influential music channel in Germany, the VIVA music channel. She has been named the Best Female Artist at their Comet Awards, beating Sarah Connor, Cassandra Steen, Nena and Cascada.

By the way, the award was handed over to her by a male TV-host dressed in the memorable way Lena's backing dancers were dressed at the Eurovision Song Contest - in a silver latex costume!

This reminds us - we had an exlusive interview with her during Europe's favourite TV-show in Düsseldorf this year, titled In Bed With Lena. See her like you've never seen before!

Lena won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2010 with Satellite and represented Germany again this year with the song Taken By A Stranger, finishing tenth.
