Latvia: Second set of Supernova semi-finalists chosen

Tonight the second heat of Supernova 2016, the Latvian national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, was held. Out of ten acts, four qualified for the semi-final stage. Find out who they are!

The following four acts have qualified tonight for the semi-final of Supernova 2016, to be held on Sunday February the 21st:

  1. MyRadiantU - We Will Be Stars (Televoting choice)
  2. Markus Riva - I Can (Televoting choice)
  3. Marta Ritova - Not From This World (Jury choice)
  4. Samanta Tina - The Love Is Forever (Jury choice)

This was the complete line-up of the show:

  • Madara Grēgere - You And I
  • Crow Mother - Demons
  • Samanta Tīna - The Love Is Forever
  • Markus Riva - I Can
  • MyRadiantU - We Will Be Stars
  • Mārtiņš Ruskis - Still Holding Stars
  • DVINES - Set It On Fire
  • Marta Ritova - Not From This World
  • Miks Dukurs - Paradise
  • Iluta Alsberga - On Hold

The above four acts join the four acts that qualified from the first round. All eight songs will compete in the semi-final of Supernova which takes place on Sunday the 21st of February.

  1. Justs - Heartbeat (Televoting choice)
  2. Catalepsia - Damnation (Televoting choice)
  3. Ivo Grīsniņš-Grīslis - We Are The Light (Jury choice)
  4. Marta Grigale - Choices (Jury choice)

The jury consisted of Guntars Račs, Kaspars Roga, Ieva Kerēvica and Intars Busulis. The Supernova final will take place on Sunday February the 28th and you can watch it live on Eurovision.tv!
