Last week, five acts made it through to the final of Eirodziesma 2012 from the first semi final. The same number of places in the final were up for grabs tonight, with ten acts vying for the right to qualify and take a step closer to representing their country in Europe's Favourite TV Show in Baku.
The show was co hosted by Jolanta Strikaite and Valters Fridenbergs, who both have experience of performing in the Eurovision Song Contest. Jolanta was a backing singer for Intars Busulis in 2009, and Valters performed with Kazha in 2005, taking Latvia to a fifth place finish in the Final with The War Is Not Over.
