Tonight’s Icelandic semi-final saw the final four entries of this years contest on stage, in order of appearance (qualifiers in bold):

• Unnur Birna Björnsdóttir – Cobwebs
• Jógvan Hansen – I Think The World Of You
• Elektra – Got No Love
• Halla Vilhjálmsdóttir – Roses

The ballad I Think The World Of You, is composed by Hallgrímur Óskarsson, who also compete with Undir regnbogann in the final. The up-tempo pop song Got No Love, also making ready for the final, is composed by Örlygur Smári, who has written the text together with Sigurður Jónsson.

Cobwebs by Heimir Sindrason (music) and Ari Harðarson (text) are along with Roses by Trausti Bjarnason (music) and Halla Vilhjálmsdóttir (text) out of the race.

The grand final of the, among the Icelanders, hugely popular Söngvakeppni Sjónvarpsins will be held on February 14th. The entries competing for the ticket to Moscow are Edgar Smári with The Kiss We Never Kissed, Jóhanna Guðrún Jónsdóttir with Is It True, Ingó with Undir regnbogann, Hreindís Ylva Garðarsdóttir Holm with Vornótt, Arnar, Edgar, Sverrir og Ólafur with Easy to Fool, Kaja Halldórsdóttir with Lygin Ein, Jógvan Hansen with I Think The World Of You and Elektra with Got No Love. Five of the songs will be performed in English and three in Icelandic.
