Koza Mostra & Agathon rock the stage
11 May 2013 at 19:05 CESTThe Greek performers first unveiled their stage costumes to Eurovision.tv backstage. Koza Mostra are dressed in black with white stripes, their shorts being covered by a kilt, an image that has accompanied the band since their formation. With this look they visually confirm their Scottish-UK music influences
And apart from the Greek national flavours contributed by Agathon Iakovidis, we found those influences in their entry Alcohol Is Free, a song that mixes the "rebetiko" folk style with punk, rock and ska.

Today they rock the Malmö Arena stage once more with their lively performance of Alcohol Is Free, a song which steps away from the usual formulas.
The press conference
When the Greek delegation was first asked about the title of their song Alcohol Is Free, their Head of Delegation, Ms.Sinia Koussoula, addressed the journalists to read the translation of the lyrics explaining that it is methaforically speaking about "the free spirit that gives great pleasure and satisfaction".
The important this is to not stop; to keep moving ahead from the struggles
Koza Mostra were asked by their favourite Eurovision entries and they gave several answers, like this year's Dutch entry Birds, or Waterloo by ABBA, but they mostly agreed on the Turkish entry from 2004, For Real by the band Athena. "We can totally relate to their sound" and they improvised a live version of its chorus. Agathon himself prefers the Greek winner in 2005 My Number One by Elena Paparizou.

About wearing kilts or skirts, the lead singer Ilias passed the question to his fellow member "as this was my idea". They thought it was cool, very free, especially in the summer, and that it's no wonder women are wearing them.
"We love to party before going on stage, so the stress goes out. With this we also manage to have fun on the stage". With this statement by Koza Mostra the Greek press conference was put to an end.
