John Lundvik will sing for Sweden in tonight's Eurovision Song Contest where he will compete with Michael Rice who represents the United Kingdom. Interestingly, John is a co-writer on both songs. In an exclusive interview in Tel Aviv this week, they discuss their entries and how Michael Rice got to sing 'Bigger Than Us'.

In our exclusive interview, John Lundvik explains why he opted to perform Too Late For Love in Sweden's Melodifestivalen this year instead of Bigger Than Us. After finishing third with a ballad in 2018, his management team thought he should go with a more up-tempo song.

That meant that Bigger Than Us was available, and Michael Rice and John Lundvik got in touch through social media to talk it over. Michael auditioned for Eurovision: You Decide, the United Kingdom's Eurovision selection show, and was picked to perform the song in the national final.

Now both artists are enjoying Tel Aviv as they prepare to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest tonight. John Lundvik sings 9th for Sweden and Michael Rice will perform 16th for the United Kingdom. Sweden will be hoping for a 7th Eurovision victory tonight, whilst the United Kingdom will be hoping to match Sweden's 6 victories in the competition.
