Ukraine's Jamala, who won the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with her entry 1944, has released her album of the same title in Europe today. The album is published by the Universal Music Group, the largest music label worldwide. It consists of 12 songs, eight of them in English and three in Ukrainian.

From now on Jamala’s fans will be able to purchase her album 1944 in Europe. "The songs in this album reflect my thoughts and feelings at this period. They are all about the search for the way home, loneliness, love, hopes for better future. I think the European audience will like it", the singer says. The opening track on the album is Jamala’s winning entry of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest.

You can listen to the following tracks in Jamala's album:

1. 1944
2. I’m Like A Bird
3. Hate Love
4. Watch Over Me
5. Perfect Man
6. My Lover
7. Drifting Apart feat. The Erised
8. You’ve Got Me
9. Thank You
10. With My Eyes
11. Way To Home
12. Breath

The song 1944 stands apart, and it is significant for me. Composing it, I was inspired by my great-grandma Nazyl-khan’s story about the tragedy of our family and all Crimean Tartars in 1944 …. Many nations experienced their awful tragedies. For me the song is really personal, and I would like its message to be heard by as many people as possible both in my country and in the world.

The album is released in Europe by Universal Music Denmark, which is an exclusive distributor of the official collection of the Eurovision Song Contest. In the near future it will also be released in the USA by Republic Records company, which is also a part of Universal Music Group, working with Ariana Grande, Drake, Florence + The Machine, John Newman, Nickelback, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd and others.
